Maple Syrup Festival 2009

The following photos are of the 28th annual "Maple Syrup Festival" held on March 21st and 22nd at the North Park Village Nature Center at 5801 N. Pulaski.

The free event features demonstrations of how sap is tapped from maple trees, boiled down and made into maple syrup. There is also plenty of entertainment, samples of the syrup, and a farmers market.
